I'm building a spot dent puller and plan to use a timer relay like the Omron H3Y-2 with analogue dial.
I came across these though and would be ideal as the time delay can be set below 1 second and hopefully preset very accurately.
Looking at the wiring diagram it appears there is no separate feed besides the trigger voltage. I assume it will only stay illuminated and allow adjustment when triggered?
The analogue one obviously you can see the preset time when not energised.
My plan is to be able to press the trigger on the gun and the relay will turn on for a predetermined time to switch on the main transformer contactor and then turn itself off so not to overheat the keys or the panel.

Panel display. Running status (or T1 period), the value is always on, and the decimal point flashes in seconds. Output status (or T2 period), the value flashes in seconds, and the decimal point flashes in seconds.
