My dad uses one of these to keep our horses fenced in.
I made up a couple of new leads from old jump leads & a nice brass earthing bar to replace the rusty steel bar he's currently using.
He's getting fed up buying a new battery every few months, it uses a 9v dry cell non rechargeable battery. They cost £20 each but for £60 you can buy a 12v leisure battery that you can recharge indefinitely.
My question is can you put 12v into a charger designed for 9v? I've had a look inside & there's a circuit board & a step up transformer.
