Basically as the title suggests i have used the wrong filler on welding two parts together!
Parts are a 304 stainless flange and a cast steel exhaust manifold!
I have 309l to do it but i used 316l for some reason!
Question is do i have to cut out the weld and re do with the 309l filler or could i get away with it?
Its the heat cycling of the manifold that I believe will crack the 316l filler. Am i right in thinking that?
Cheers Michael
