Hi all,
In the (hopefully) not too distant future I plan to make an "Exhaust vent" for an Intercooler mounted in the boot of my car.
This is to act as a heatshield from the exhaust cans and also to divert the air passing through the intercooler out the rear of the car, rather than straight down - meaning that the air should be less interupted under the car.
I would probaly look to use 1.2mm steel sheet. Would this be too flimsy? Or should I brace it to help keep the weight down with the thin sheet?
My main question is what sort of power settings/wire feed would I need on my Clarke 160? Would I be right to use my 0.6mm wire? And Argon/CO2 mix?
Thanks in advance,
Ant
