Me too. You don't even need more money. The gys can be bought cheaper than the Rtech.THe R-tech is far too expensive for what it is... I would go for Parweld/Thermal Arc 202 or if more money was available then gys 207
I've used one and the thermal arc. for the meer price of them I think they are really good. It's my belief that the parweld 202 is a cracking machine, never used one myself, as others have said r tech prices seem to have crept up,if I was buying a tig for home use I would go for the parweld machine personally... but it's your money not mine
Oh I'm Canterbury by the way,but I know gravesend oh too well!
Pedals are dear tools. How much would a pedal cost?
When I bought the Parweld it was £150 cheaper than the ThermalArc and the Parweld comes with a torch that you can adjust the main current from which for me is more use as I never use a pedal, it also comes with a regulator but no flow meter.
I was talking to the Boatyard and they have just ordered one after I told them about mine, they got an even better deal than me the B... B.. Blighters, comes with a Parweld lid as a Christmas bonus
I'd suggest you go for a happy medium size if it must be gas cooled and go wp17.myself to a parweld pro grip wp9 torch unless convinced otherwis
What are peoples opinions of rtech torches compared to the parweld ones?
