depends on the size of your current torch, there are WP9 air cooled torches and WP20 air cooled torches that are both readily available with flexible necks, the are different types of handle available and you can get them with or without switches. and they are all available from cheap and nasty to professional quality.
If you are thinking of getting a pedal then a small torch with the sort of button that is cable-tied on might be better for now then you can take the button off when you get a pedal.
Parweld (I think?) do a torch that you can swap the style of button or fit a blank,
Plenty of budget options for add-on buttons. Ck do some fairly ergonomic ones.
They are mostly just simple on/off switches so you could make your own easily enough or if you wanted a really small/compact torch you could just use a cheap foot switch

(Being retired is beautiful, lots of time to do things, but......one has to budgetise and prioritise the new tools/materials.)
