Hi there
Last weekend I helped spray a friends VW Golf in 2K Acylic Metallic Silver. The intention was to finish off with 2K high gloss lacquer as well.
However time was against us and we did not have time to get the lacquer on.
I understand that that you need to put the lacquer down pretty quick after the colour coat and leaving it too long is not good as the lacquer will not adhere very well.
So do I need to be looking at scuffing (600grit) the colour coat down (which is a shame as the final finish I got is very good) , reapply another coat of the silver then carry on with the lacquer?
Any help and advice would be much appreciated
Thanks
