anything I can pull one of these out of for my positioner project before I end up splashing out? Should have got a 12v motor really but it’s bought now
its only driving a small geared motor to drive a weld positioner so wouldnt be more than 5a i wouldnt thinkWhat sort of power draw do you need?
I have a few various 24v supplies about..
My heart says no, but my bank account says cannablise everything24v switching psu's are dirt cheap on ebay
Is it worth finding something to canabalise.
My lack of free time says buy. If I had a 24v power supply kicking around in something I'd use it.My heart says no, but my bank account says cannablise everything
I worked out the rpm range I needed with the motor between about 25% and full power .try it on a 12 volt car battery it may run it just a bit slower if its ok get a 12 volt power supply
May actually have something like that, had just assumed it would be either 6 or 12vMy lack of free time says buy. If I had a 24v power supply kicking around in something I'd use it.
As it goes I have one of these spare 3amp though.View attachment 139711
