Hi all, i am starting to collect parts for the trailer for this boat, i have built a fair few trailers in the past but smaller car/camping/gardening trailers, no much difference but for the question below
I am bidding and hoping to win 4 sets of roller beds and will be getting 10-12 dumbell keel rollers with 19mm pins and one heavy duty one for the tail end which will be the first load roller. That should do the trick.
I have a plan in my head, will draw it out one day lol. The main thing is i am debating over is if it is best to weld it all, well part or bolt. I plan to build i from 100mm x 50mm x 4mm RHS for the central beam front to back for the keel rollers, then channel of the same size for the side rails and out riggers.
Am estimate of the boat is it weighing in at 2000kg loaded.
I have these axles 5000kg payload, OTT but up to the job, can even adjust the leafs if need be by adding new ones.
The boat, keel stops where the rear deck starts on the down sloe of the rear bulkhead.
Any ideas advice is welcome.
cheers
