hi all! ive been a member for a while now, but so far found all the answers i need by searching, but now im after a new welder, single phase, 180amp ish, and must go low enough to weld car body. can anyone advise?
i currently have a lincoln compact 185 mounted in my van, and i love it! however im struggling to find someone who can supply one in the uk? i also have a sealey supermig 185 in the workshop, but i hate it! and it needs replacing!
i have heard good reports from friends on small kempi and lincoln inverter migs, which i would be very intrested in, should the price be right! i understand they will have slightly lower duty cycle than a bigger (transformer??) mig, but that isn't too much of an issue to me.
i understand there is someone on the forum that might be able to supply a new machine?
or, can anyone advise what good 180amp mig i can buy for around a £600 budget? can maybe stretch a little more if its worth it! i dont mind if its a fancy little inverter jobbie, or a bigger transformer one, all price dependant!
