I’m converting a Calidus Autogyro into a towable sleeping pod/bbq thingy. In doing so I need to connect the towing arm to something substantial, and while it’s made from carbon fibre I dont want to use the pod as a stressed unit. It has a rear subframe to mount the [rear] wheels, engine etc. Makes sense to fix it to that? problem is the bottom of the pod is curved, plus I dont want to detract from the lines. So it has to go through the pod floor, exiting the nose in a truncated hole, I have no idea how to mark out. So I came up with the idea of cutting a hole saw up and welding the bits to the scaf pole
I’ll get pics of the cutting tomorrow. Meanwhile...
