well chaps after much reading reviews and watching a video on the Evolution website i purchased a Rage 2 chopsaw its got a 14" or 355mm tct blade on it, i ordered it on thursday afternoon about 3ish it arrived at 10 this morning so 10 out of 10 for delivery! i won't to build a roll cage for my daughters Suzuki and some other protection so i thought something that would cut at 90 degrees and 45 degrees would be a good start anyway here it is
i had a bit of 1.5" gas pipe knocking about so i thought i'd give it a whirl
pulled the trigger, bugger it tripped my garage mcb out its a 16amp just incase anyone is wondering not motor rated though! i ran an extension lead from the kitchen presto
it zipped through it like butter did it in seconds honestly. so i thought maybe i could cut 2 recesses in the pipe it would make a nice joint to weld up
it butted up quite nice
so i pulled out the mig and buzzed it up i know before anyone says i didn't clean the paint off sorry
so if the blade lasts between 800-1000cuts i'll be quite chuffed its a clean cut thats not hot i'm impressed to say the least i'll let everyone know how the blade goes Gazza
