how long would a 9L bottle of 20% co2/argon last from a 137 bar fill under normal welding conditions welding between 0.8mm and 3mm material?
cheers paul, I knew someone would have a proper answer
I have just been looking through adamsgas.co.uk and they are cheap enough for me and they have a stockist on the next industrial estate to my main supermarket.
just out of interest, how would a 6.35kg bottle of co2 compare to the 9L bottle mentioned above?
I only really ever weld steel so argon isn't really needed. the rare stainless jobs I do get brazed
The co2 boils off as a gas from a sort of snowy powdery solid.
if it is a liquid, why do the regulators have 2 gauges? why not a single gauge like the propane regulators just showing flow rate?
