Well it's not as if you need a higher stock to make the gun shoot higher as in Down The Line or Olympic Trap, rifle that can be done via the scope, so I wouldn't have thought you would need a great deal of height (comb) adjustment to bring your eye in line with the scope?
Rather than butchering the stock and probably devaluing it

Simple and effective. Are you going to keep it a different color to the rifle or get it painted up to match at some point?
