This arived this morning. I won't pretend I wasn't excited, cos I was. Ordered ten days ago! I had it up and running after lunch and initial findings are its a realy great bit of kit! I've been puting off geting a decent middle sized mig for over a year now and most of the heavier work we do is done with one of several Oxford & Pickhill oil cooled arc however there are some jobs that could be done faster with a mig and my little Draper 130 was getting a bit of hammer on auto work so this fits nicely in the line up from patching up the underside of manky vintage cars right up to doing some cattle feed barriers if needed.
Straight out of the box .8 wire loaded and gased up and I like it. Its very smooth in all settings thanks to the cappacitors fitted for that perpose and the semi synagenic thing seems to work well as far as I can tell, though I've only had a bit of a play so far.
If anyone is interested I'll up date this thread once I've given it some work over the next few weeks.
