Choosing a post mig

I'm from the perspective of purchasing a mig post in some time.

I would like your opinion on it:

I am not sure about this system, it is not a manufacturer that I know....

The success of any synergic system is the waveform, and what changes you can make to the waveform.... it would be interesting to know what fine controls are available.....

I am going to google and will let you know my 2p worth....

OK, having had a bit of a look on the web, I am not finding much information...

Depending on what manufacturer you look at with synergic systems, you do get a varying range of arc control.... This system looks quite basic in that you seem to have only an arc force control, voltage and wire feed?

The thing is that synergic systems are not cheap but there are varying levels of control. Some have the ability to control arc length, open rooting (without backing) pulse on pulse etc..... Also most of the more expensive systems allow the ability to choose non-synergic options as well.....

I would be concerned at the lack of process options and maybe the possibility that you may be limited in what you can carry out.

Of course, the over-riding factor is your budget, but there are some systems that have more capability but you would have to track down the right system for you...... Ergus inverters are a low cost system that have the functionality that comes with some of the more expensive power sources.....

I have seen a demo of Ergus systems at a welding exhibition, and for an entry level system, it seemed pretty good! (Not in the same league as Lincoln, Miller, Kemppi Fronius etc)

yes level budget, I'm about 450euros for a post 200A and is willing to work with no gas and coils of wire 300mm and 15Kg (if possible)

The 36A rating is the maximum inrush current.......

the MIG output range is 15-200A

(I do not have a price list, but have a catalogue here )

it will take 15kg spools, and if you needed, you could use self shielding wire....

The link you sent was for the MET 200 DCi. The pictures above show a different machine, which I cannot find on the Tecla Italia website. Perhaps it is an obsolete product.
I don't think the "synergic" aspect is the main issue here. This is a 200A MIG, built using modern inverter technology ( rather than an old-fashioned transformer/rectifier ). This switched-mode power supply
electronics allows it to also have MMA and TIG options. As a MIG, it can also use gasless wire.This is generally considered to be an inferior compromise, compared to Argon/CO2 gas. Are you planning to use the machine in gasless mode? That would seem to waste the possible high-end capabilities of this machine. Is the availability of gas in France a problem? What do you intend to use this machine for, and in what capacity ( professional, serious amateur, occasional hobby )?
As an inverter, it has a advantages: low weight, small size, high efficiency, and disadvantages: complex, difficult to repair, hard-to-source components.
The website for the Italian manufacturer claims that their current products are all locally made - i.e. in Italy, but this machine has a "generic" look ( e.g. search for Power I-MIG 205 ), and as such is probably a re-badged Chinese product. You should therefore carefully validate the Seller warranty and after-sales support. That said, if you can win it for 330 Euros, it seems to be a bargain, so you would have to consider the cost/features/reliability/support balance.

yes on post I spoke of two MIG, MIG-205 and post Ergus home.

In France, the gas is not a real problem (besides the price?) but I also work outdoors.
Tig function of post at Ergus may also be interesting. (yet to know the price of post)
The use of post'd rather amateur in while having a proper machine.

At welds of aluminum, would it be possible to weld with one of these post (depending mig)?

Agreed, working outdoors would be a reason to choose gasless wire.
Welding aluminium with a DC MIG welder is possible, after setting up correctly ( rollers, torch liner ), but an AC TIG is best. Use the Search on this Forum for "aluminium MIG" to find earlier advice on this subject.
By the way, the French "poste a souder" or "poste de soudage" would be "welding equipment" or just "welder" in English. "To post", in the context of a forum, means to write something on the Internet.

What do you want to use the welder for?

This would be for all that is wrought iron, and achieving diverse (welding steel plate by small bead or spot).
In an amateur use (although with regular use).

The "Stamos" welder may be sold by a German company, but again, it is actually a Chinese product. The machine is an inverter MIG, but not as versatile as the "Teclaitalia/Ergus" one. It only takes 20cm ( 5KG ? ) spools, and has a permanently-attached torch - not a Euro-connector. This could make it harder to get a new torch liner for use with aluminium wire. Not clear how to reverse polarity for Gas/No-Gas useage. The lowest current setting of 50A is too high for thin metal ( car bodywork). In general this seems a much worse machine than the previous one you described.

It is not easy to find retail prices for the Tecla Italia / Ergus MET 170 DC1. There is a German company ( http://shop.muehlmeier.de ) selling them, but only to dealers ( vente en gros ). There are retail sellers on the Web in Eastern Europe, but they are expensive: Hungary 1345 Euros, Poland 1283, Ukraine 1652.
I'd suggest asking the manufacturer, Tecla Italia, to provide you with contacts to French dealers

There is one of the machines that you first wrote about - the MIG205 - available on eBay Italy ( ebay.it ) now. It is item 260716876255, only 62 Euros with 3 days to run. They will ship to the EU. If you cannot find dealers in France, you could try putting in a low bid for that one, or maybe use the eBay messages to ask the Seller "tigmig-italia" if they can get you a MET 170 DCi.
