SIP Migmate 30 Turbo wire feed pinch roller arm

Hi folks, After fitting a steel liner and new swan neck supplied from weldequip on here quite some time ago this has been a cracking little welder, however today ive managed to break the pinch roller arm on the wire feed, being plastic i suppose this is common.

Anyway has anyone got one spare on a poorly machine or does anyone know where i can buy such a part? Thanks for any help

Hi and thanks for that, I had already seen the full unit on the second link and due to the cost of what is just a plastic moulding I was hoping that someone would have a poorly one they didnt want that i could salvage seeing as these welders are so globally slated and despised

Even with a poor reputation they still fetch a few quid on ebay - people who get fed up with them normally sling em on ebay so you can probably pick up a complete welder as spares if you are lucky

I'll have a look tomoro... I have a 130/150 out in the junk pile....I would not pass it on to anyone, hateful piece of crap that it is, maybe OK for spares still if anyone wants to collect or pay the postage....

make one from a piece of steel doesnt look that hard then brace it to the screws on the bottom roller as other have done.

Where are you in the UK?

If the OP has the arm can I have the motor unit/gearbox

And whats the PCB look like (just in case my PWM modification goes horribly wrong)

Condition better than expected as it has been outside for a while.

Torch wrecked... been in a puddle for 6 months LOL.... so probably still works like new...

Bits... you can have them... first come first served, just pay the P&P, & if you are able a small donation to the beer fund would not go amiss :whistle:

( & I really mean if able or appropriate... and small

)

At the tile it was chucked everything "worked" if that is the term.... just not as a unit, usual SIP/POS problems.
