Default Hi All

Hi,

All my welding up until now is with arc welding or brazing, i have just been given an old Snap-on Minimig 180C but the manual is missing. So if anyone knows where i can find a manual online i would be grateful. Or can tell me the settings for welding up 16swg box section that would be a help to.

Terry

Hi Terry, welcome to the forum .
You really shouldn't need a manual for that machine, I'd imagine there's only a few controls on it so it will be easy enough to work out the best settings.
Rather than say power level 2, wirespeed 6 I'd suggest you do some test welds with some steel of the same thickness to check fusion and penetration, you'll soon work out what works best.
Listen for that all important 'sizzle' as you adjust the wirespeed up and down as you weld on different power settings.
