At last some gas in midlands

thanks for the heads up have also asked seller about pure argon and will report back. If it turns out to be any good will put his details in gas thread

got a reply from the new gas place and the prices are very good i asked for a quote on 2 mid sized bottles one pur argon and one argon/co2 mix and the reply was--
if you require two bottles then you would require two licences @ £40.00 each and refill price of £29.00 incl vat for each type of gas total would be £138.00

yeah i mailed him too. the licences are like rental really or a cirtificate to show you have the proper bottle. its a one off payment that lasts 10 years.
the good thing about this is that if you want 2 bottles lets say argon/co2 and a pure argon , you can swap one of the bottles for something else when it comes to refill

msg sent from seller:
A licence is £40.00 pounds and lasts for 10 years and refills currently run at £29.00. so initialy your outlay would be £69.00 incl vat and then £29.00 for a refill. You require a licence for each cylinder you have but you can exchange different gases eg argon for oxygen. Oxygen refills are £25.00 incl vat.

I'd be interested in finding out more details for the spreadsheet. I'd need to know how much gas is in the cylinders.

i was going over today but havent been to well the last couple of days man flue !!ill be going over defo monday to pick a couple of bottles up ill stick my gauges on and give you all a read out

High Purity Argon First fill £29.00 or Argon/Co2 First fill £29.00 (Refills also £29.00)

Licence lasts for ten years and allows you to exchange cylinder whenever you wish for same or different contents from our list.

You require one licence for each cylinder held.

Delivery maybe possible at your cost or you collect. Payment is cash only.

Cylinder size is 9.4 litre filled to 137bar. We have no other sizes available on ebay.

Cylinders remain our property at all times and must not be filled by anyone else.

This is the price, we have to sell a number like this before we can offer it on a buy now basis. If you bid £75.00 we will sell you the item and list another.

we have several hundred available.

IT Willbe interesting to see how that works out on the gas price spreadsheet , ? thats not a very high fill pressure , the keygas ones are to 200 bar for comparrison .
