Well as myself and some of you feared, they/he/she came back!!!!!!!
![]() Got up this morning to go and do some work for a friend and noticed the hinges had some of the screws removed. There are four in total, two of them had been removed and the remaining two they couldnt get undone as they had security screws in them. A couple of the security screws had been drilled, but they are hardened and they obviously only brought one drill, or a crappy one as they must have given up. So today I have ended up putting in coachbolts, right through the door and a piece of flat bar. It wont stop em but it will slow them down. Got the alarm reinstated and a baby monitor. Big stick at both the front and back door, and all the lights now working. Just dont know what I will do if I catch them at!!! i have a pretty short and nasty temper but dont want to end up in jail for GBH which is what will happen if I do catch them daz

well if you can get hold of some sheet steel line the inside of the shed just incase they go through a wall or even some strong plywood and make a couple of drop bars to padlock right across the door.
i had my garage done some years ago not nice to find your door wide open when it wasnt you that opened it |

Personally, I would spend the next few nights camping out waiting for them. Give them the good news, drive them a loooong way away and ditch them with the advice that the next time they will end up on the BBQ for the dogs dindins. But thats just me and I do believe thats letting them of lightly

The only caution is if theyre spiteful ****'s they may torch the shed in temper. I did work somewhere that used the above but with a straight connection to unfused 240v mains. We found a bent curly screwdriver and a small smouldering hole in the rear door one day... I would have no hesitation in burying the bodies with the jcb. Enter at your own risk, danger of death... |

I know the measures I have taken wont stop them, but at least it will slow them down, hopefully enough to make them think the next time they appear. The electric fence idea is good, I had already thought of that and will keep it in mind if they do reappear. Thanks for all the advice guys,
cheers daz
