Default Argoshield or equivalent

Where is the best place to by argoshield light or its equivalent in cornwall as i had been using boc but for someone who uses the gas infrequently its rather expensive but still cheaper than buying the little disposable bottles, prices i have had so far, all plus vat:

Boc argoshield light size x (2.4m3)

Rental £5.25 a month, £63 a year
Fill £26.75
Collection £11.35
Environmental charge 90p, not sure whether thats a one off or per month

Bennets gas Coogar x5 sizex10 (2.16m3)

Rental £80.67 per year
Fill £26.90
Collection £14.95

SJ andrew supplies, very vague on the details, supposedly ferrowmaxx 7 size 2.4m3 approx

Rental £80.67 per year
Fill £44.02

Just wondering whether anyone knows of a cheaper alternative in cornwall really, was rather surprised that boc are coming out about the cheapest for this cylinder! the big plus as i see it is the monthly rental as i can then hand the cylinder back when empty until i need another, the negative being if i suddenly need to weld something

BOC are currently offering a deal to DIY users, speak to Justin Crook at the Manchester office...

email:Justin.Crook@boc.com

You can get a Y sized cylinder for the cost your paying for an X with lower rental on the second year...

Main reasons for wanting to stay with the smaller bottle is i use the welder all over the place so an extra 20kg (which the Y is over the X) would make it harder to get about over rough ground, dont really use enough gas to justify having a larger bottle

Not too sure what else to suggest, it's a bit awkward when your in between full size and disposables as I found out beginning of last year...

It's a dreaded though and Mr.Weldequip will scorn me for saying it but what about getting your hands on a pub bottle or smaller bottle of CO2???

This is one of "those situations" I'm afraid where you have to balance "quality" against "cost"...

I'm on contract for a Y bottle, at present I won't use it at all, however if I get into my house soon with the PortaMIG I've got lined up I'll consume it in no time at all...

A tough one you have to weigh up, finish vs grinding I'm afraid...
