Hello
I have been welding off and on for about 20 years now, mainly repair work, and have just completed the build of my almost dream workshop. Just the CNC milling machine to go...... he said....
I have Oxyacetylene, an old Cytringan oil filled arc welder, and have just sold my Clarke 100e MIG on eBay, and I am currently looking at getting a Portamig 185.
Projects underway
Get my Mk 2 Golf back on the road, not too much welding, but what there is, is a real pain in the butt.
Restore my VX Senator, this needs both rear wings/door shuts doing, both sills, windscreen pillar... etc....
And probably lots more than this, once I get cracking....
Currently at night school learning how to weld again, after a long break.
Qualified engineer, and worked in rotating equipment/turbo machinery in one way or another all my life.

Welcome Nigel,
Seems like you have your hands full. good luck with the new workshop,
Sounds like we were in the same sort of game, I worked for I.C.I machine team, then Sulzer roteq followed by a few years with M.A.N. turbomachinery, Retired now but still enjoy playing with the "toys".
Cheers Gordon.
