I don't think we'll ever find out. :D
Edit: then again we could both be wrong or right! The DB9s may be mounted on a sub board which is then connected to the main board!
This stuffs good if you have any suppliers locally.

Scroll down the sellers page and you will see the pinouts, don't worry about the R it's for a reference signal.
"More difficult to take a socket out of the panel than I thought." does the case screw together?
Scroll down in the item description and you will see what is in the manual is not the same as the description. Undo the input db9 socket and post a picture of the back of it.
@Bsmith Put simply - no. The manual says RS (EIA) 422 signal, the scale is TTL 5v. Did you order a 422 signal display?
It may be that the board will take a TTL 5V signal and the conversion from 422 to TTL is done at the socket, this is how Aikron does it, but that is something you would have...
I would expect the switch base will come out, but the moving contacts will stop on a plate which is moved by the key tumbler, Usually little springs behind them to apply pressure. Take it out carefully. Key tumblers will stay in place.
P.S. I expect it will be made of monkey metal and may crack...
I've changed to Bennet's for the bike, I'm still unsure the policy I was under with RH included recovery to home, sales person said yes, but's that not how the policy wording read to me. Read the actually policy before paying.
