It would be great to hear a bit more about the process. How much painting experience (skill) you had prior, and how "user friendly" the product is (for a relative novice). Most importantly - what's the colour please??
I defer to Bob's knowledge, but if it were mine I'd try and get someone to tig up the crack while the head is off - if they could do it without disturbing the seats (?)
Only because it shouldn't be hard to start / running rough and when it's back together and you've done the valves, carb...
If that's really a first go at metal bashing your work is very good. Keep the updates coming it will make a good thread. I had one 20 plus years ago used to rev itself up just so you knew the idle control valve was due a clean out! :dontknow:
Interesting thread! I must be out of touch so many machines mentioned on here at £1k plus! Our local quick-scratch car-wash place just have pumps in what look like small genny cradles. Might even be metal pump workings but i bet they don't spend a grand each on them. Can't be hard to make some...
Impressive build mate, not just the frame welding and fabrication but getting that involved with ignition and injection. Bit late to suggest it, but have a look at Ignitech they're based in cz but do answer emails and could probably you. I hope to make Newark and will say Hi if so :thumbup:

Hi. Have you seen Fitzees fabrication on YouTube explaining what he calls Cut and Butt? Well worth a look and he gets far neater results letting panels in like that than anyone I've seen trying to make two cut panels fit together. I think you are on the right track making the lip on the bottom...
