I have had it open. the torch is a live torch AC connected directly to the transformer
the Tiny pcb inside has very little on it and only controls the wire feed

Im going to put a new liner in it and patch it...
just picked up a kende 105f of Facebook for a tenner with wire.
the feed is naff so im going to put a ned liner in.
but i have noticed the torch is always live. is this normal for this welder or do i have a stuck relay somewhere in it.
just wonder if the machine mart liners will fit
cleaned all metal plus rod with acetone as well. These are my tries this morning. not cleaned with brush. just lay the braze pause at end till after post gas finish.
flow gauge on bottle have tried for 7lpm up to 30 using a band new refiled Argon cylinder from Energas today purged the line after changing
tried from lowest amp 10A up to 80A post gas about 4 seconds no leaks. even fitted new electrode

well another day
tried again less heat on the metal and not on the rod. still getting a gray braze same as before.
the rods are suppose to be Sifsilcopper 968. Im actually wondering if I have been accidently been sent the wrong rods. As I am getting the same resulty if I try normal...
dont think i am.. going to try the lowest amp and work up.
the stringer actually cleans up nice with brush.
something is def amiss. i bought a trial pack of rods off ebay. could be fake rods. you never know.
will look in to splashing out from a proper supplier
they do work ok wiht...
cheers for that . i know normally too much gas is just as bad. if i can get back in to my workshop tomorrow wil have another bash lower amps less gas. test parts where cleaned. even wiped down with acetone. to see if that improved it.
running a wire brush over it and it cleans up. but...
