RTBComp - i check for the spark by taking a plug out of the engin, attaching its high tension cable and placing it ontop the engin. Has my friend turn the ignition over and switched lights off. i could see the spark clearly. The rotar arm isent loose, it seems fine...

Hello, the next idea iv had for a wee project is to make a cold chilsel.
Im going to make it using a suspension spring (spring steel, around 6% carbon is that right?)
Straighten it and then heat and quench, any ideas as to how many times i should heat and cool it?
Also any other ideas to try...

hello all, found a vid on line under lead forge and decided to try it out, iv attached a pic, it needs the wire brush to finish it up nicly. my first attempt at anything like this. Cant see it from this angle but the leaf undulates, just to give it a little more leafy feel to it :)

Just a note about the cost of the day coarse.
Im doing a 12 week evening coarse 6.30pm - 9pm (2.5 hrs).
That cost me £105, but you if you qualifie you can get it paid for by ILA.
It just seems that if your paying £75 for one day, may be a evening coarse would be a better deal...
