Shouldn't the bolt on the dynamo be inside the slot in the adjustment brace arm?
Maybe it just needed a little bit more adjustment to fit the stretched/oversize belt - must be a honest fergie as that's just what a farmer would do!
I have a telescope & looked at these a few years ago, they were a bit cheaper then (about 500 or so) and more traditional buttress dimensions for the wings (and no go-faster holes)
I decided that they were a bit pricey, but the killer was that they need to be fixed to about 1 metre cube of...
Gotta love this forum, where else could you start a thread like that & receive immediate sensible suggestions without anyone even questioning the sanity/practicality of such a thing!
Just one thing - send pictures it sounds intriguing!
You're correct, any lock, chain or cable security is no match for a battery powered abrasive wheel tool and determined thief. As with all security it's only as good as the weakest link.
I did some work for automotive keyless security systems in the past & that just means that as the security...
If it has a removable core, which it looks like this model does, it's a case of inserting the blank & filling down each position until the lower (key) pins align with the outer edge of the key barrel.
If it can be picked & the core removed then a key could be easily made if a blank was...
It is possible to impression a key if you can get some blanks, this is done form the locked state so doesn't need to be picked before hand. The process is an iterative one requiring a fine file & the ability to polish the top edge of the key to see marks from the pins (I'm not sure if it might...
I don't post very often - I don't weld much.
But inspired by some of the recent posts, typical of those posted here in general, I'd just like to say what a great community this is.
There always appears to be someone here who knows the answer - not just welding, but all sorts of things.
Also a...
I bought one of those on fleabay about 12 months ago - cost a bit more than yours.
I contacted Metalcraft & they sent me the pdf of the instructions - they're very helpful people. I think it's no longer made as they've updated the product range so it's no longer on their website.
Don't forget that even if the machine can do higher current, you'll need a suitable circuit to connect it to. A standard mains 13A socket will only allow 130A or if you're luck 150A of welding current before the fuse blows. If you need more then you'll require a mains 16A circuit installed.
And another thumbs up for Metalcraft from me.
I also bought some of their tools second-hand and contacted them to enquire about instruction manuals - they promptly replied with pdf copies for free.
I've used a couple of the Bushnell trail cameras - for wildlife they're excellent.
I was sceptical at first but wife bought me one for my birthday, I was so impressed I bought another. I guess that there's not much to choose between different makes but I very quickly decided that for wildlife...
