on the rohill stuff the adjuster is at the bottom.
guess i was on the right track when i said they were rover/leyland stuff. i think they are 203m so 8" not 200mm.
the problem i had with the adjusters was that the knurled edges had worn off so they would just loose adjustment.
the knowledge...
i think i chucked all the old brake stuff away sorry.
the original axles are knott-avonride. but i got new axles from some place in south birmingham for about £250 each, it worked out cheaper to get them as trailer axles and mod them myself than to get them as just bare axles without the...
i initially made the part using this stuff but found that it leaks when under pressure, we pressure tested a smaller car braided flexi and it was good hence me wanting some of that.
the problem i have also it that it needs to be adjusted in shape about 10 times a day.
i will look into the...
i need to buy some 2 meter lengths of that stainless over braided exhaust flexi stuff but i have no idea what it is actually called or where i can buy it from. its not for a car but for a machine.

i ended up buying new axles as the rubber 'suspension' in mine were seized solid. then i removed the trailer brake backing plates and fitted ford fiesta ones as the shoes/ drums are the same size.
from what i remember i found out that these were some old british leyland/ old rover stuff so i...
a weld on dent puller is a nice investment if you have the use for it. or you can just tack a few washers on and use a slide hammer.
a 'slapper' like this...
ASHP is something ive been considering. how do you find the actual heat pump units? ive heard of people complaining the outside unit is noisy.
a lot of the stuff I can find on the internet are from people who have built those big 'Grand-Designs' type houses so end up having a 'Plant' room with...
this on an RB box?
I tend to just pull the housings off and blast everything with a can of brake cleaner.
its worth checking the selector forks aren't cracked when its in bits. and I like putting an additional magnetic drain plug in them.
leyland trade water based gloss (the red one from screwfix) is decent as is the primer. cold house and being quick help, also use those cheap synthetic paint brushes and a big one at that!!.
have 2 people if doing a 6 panel door.
my floor had that bitumen on, I used SBR and Blue circle Portland cement as a sealer/ levelling compound. mix it up runnier than it says on the back of the cement in a flexible builders bucket with a whisk in a drill on a slow speed. you need to help it along with a float or a spiked roller when...
its on my list of things I want to own, I was going to look into using those smoke bomb things that gas fitters use to check chimneys. I think you can get those in bright orange which should make it easier to spot leaks.
Like this, you would slide the bit of wood to be cut in where the orange caulk gun is, line it up with the groove scored in the base plate, then the saw runs along the top govened by the strip that fits snug in the base plate of the saw.
Cheers guys. I will get a few Freud ones.
Are the blades / teeth all the same widths? As I did buy a cheap 40t one from Aldi, which I used to build a mitre cutting box so ideally would want saw blades that are the same dimensions.
what blades do you guys recommend for circular saws? ive only just really started messing with wood and have the Rage Evolution 185mm but want to get some proper wood blades for it.
I bought it because it is track compatible, then I just made a massive long track for it.
