I’ve been slowly adding to the collection over time, current list, as much in order of purchase as I can remember.
Clarke 6x4 horizontal bandsaw, now permanently vertical.
Adige B60 cold cut (wet) saw.
Evolution 14” TCT (dewalt blade).
Evolution 185 TCT compound mitre.
Evolution handheld...
Hi folks, is there anyone that would be about to do a bit of turning for me, in the Guildford/Woking/Bracknell area, this week.
Roughly, it’s a to make a press tool, so needs to be fairly hard, roughly 80-85mm diameter round stock, with a short convex radius section, will discuss in more detail...
I was given one of the “True Fusion” ones as a xmas present a few years back. It’s not the best quality in the world, the adjusters for the headband all broke, easy repair with small nuts and bolts. Other than that, it works perfectly for me as a back up.
The only thing I will say for me...
Are there any identifying marks on these so I can check it's the right one?
Failing that, this is on eBay, might be closer http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=121606739759
I've just texted a friend of mine who I know has one that's been sitting in the corner of the driveway for years, will let you know the response. In guildford though
I'll pop into SED tommorow on my way home and enquire about LiFePo batteries. I've still got the spare turbo V8 and a pair of slicks in the garage if that'll work
Supposedly the quick drying one is still high in VOC's or whatever and doesn't suffer from the yellowing. Personally I don't rate dulux and almost always use Leyland unless otherwise requested
As said, Santana, comes with a better IMO Iveco engine than the POS Transit lump they've stuck in the latter defenders.
When it first came out I seem to remember it had very good reviews by some of the off road magazines.
And before anyone suggests otherwise, the experience comes from a 56...
As I said on another thread yeasterday, I killed evolution blades quickly in my 14" saw, bought a dewalt replacement from Screwfix, about £100 but worth every penny
And yes, that's just the blade
I get it here http://www.cfsnet.co.uk/cgi-local/sh000001.pl?REFPAGE=http%3a%2f%2fwww%2ecfsnet%2eco%2euk%2f&WD=acetone&PN=CFS_Catalogue_Acetone_533%2ehtml%23a1_21AAC005_2d200#a1_21AAC005_2d200 or failing that if I only need a small amount or quickly the the local beauty/hair salon supplies place...
I've had a FIAC for 10+ years, v-twin direct drive 3.5kw, probably make it one of the smaller ones. Bought it to go with my plasma, has done everything else I've asked from it since including spraying a few cars. Can't comment on after sales, parts or repairs as has never needed anything
I've got one of each, the 255 mitre, the 14" chop saw and the handheld jobbie. Never used the smaller one on steel, but the big one has cut 180x10 flat, 180 channel, and 120x60x6 rhs with ease.
Don't bother replacing the blade with an evolution one though, I've got a dewalt blade in it now...
