Hello everyone,I trust you are all well:thumbup:.....I intend to do a bit of ally welding using 1.2mm wire, using my draper 70047 welder. I suspect it is an MB15 torch and was hoping that, there are 1.2mm tips for this torch....your advise most appreciated
Wow,impressive results so far. I was just working a bit on my 4i that I have been distracted away from. I did some metal fabrication years ago on the sill area,in front of the rear arch, due to corrosion. They have a slight pattern, which I was trying to replicate, years ago, then slapped on a load...
Sealey have mentioned that a new 50 quid PCB IMIG180.18,might be needed. Marvellous,it's only 3 years old aswell, and barely used. A one year warranty is on this welder, purchased in 2019.
Thanks Eddie. I've had a battle trying to get the sound on the footage. Try these

Back again gents. After solving the gas leak fault, gushing out of the torch handle. Went out and got set up to do a bit of welding on the Cortina, now the wire speed has started to give grief. This is the speed
When you say solenoid,do you mean the part as in the above picture? I did open up the welder expecting the gas pipe to be connected to a solenoid like in in my old SIP ( https://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/threads/how-to-gas-solenoid-valve.39248/ ) but no,the gas pipe just travels through.
