I looked heavily at the creality k1, p1s/p1p and x1c and settled on the x1c in the end, because has the hardened extruder as standard, better screen and camera/lidar.
Going from an ender 3 to the x1c was a game changer!! Prints in around ⅓ of the time. More consistent higher quality prints...
2020 they had done a revision on the diesel engine by then.
Stay well away from any earlier than 2017 though as love scrapping the engines at around 120k.
They are decent wagons. Don't really rot, only thing with subarus they do not like aftermarket parts.
Stay genuine subaru filters etc and...
Done cerakote on an alloy subaru engine block.
Came out a treat and really happy with the results.
Have got more to do the brakes and suspension components as due to thickness of material should be better around bushes etc.
We did do this but I've managed to end up with a 30L and 2x 50L bottles now.
This way got loads of time to worry about refills and getting to my local supplier.
(Was running 2x20L bottles but the prices drop considerably per fill for larger bottles)
Never had an issue swapping an empty bottle with any dealer.
Usually use 4 local but have had to swing by others on those oh darn moments.
Only becomes a major problem if using the 30 or 50l bottles as not many people stock them.
(10 and 20 are common as muck)
I know its over budget but managed to get the r-tech on special (was down to £120 from £150. And is a good helmet with true colour.
If can wait for special then might be an option.
Who did the head gasket?
As the head bolts are different lengths and if they aren't put in the right places they will pinch on the cam and can make the engine tight.
Ordered 5 to try to keep up on stock.
Seem happy enough compaired to my older different branded ones.
Am happy for the price.
Cheers Julian for the heads up.
A wise man once told me,
Those who pay the least, always expect the most.
Because if its all they can afford then means more to them. Do agree with this now as we sell "budget" items and hear it near enough everyday.
Drove from Exeter to Yeovil to investigate why a farmers computer wasn't working.
Found out he had a power cut,
(Which still was currently happening)
I did explain to him that without electricity it wouldn't work.
Then drove home.
Yea just did scan read of their website. Some proper bit of kit that looks like.
Well out of my league but amazing to see how tech is moving on.
Will be interested in seeing some products etc.
(Also if you do prints for other people also)
