Hi guys update on my mig got it back yesterday. After 3 weeks It worked better than it ever did. But after half an hour it just stopped working all I hear when I press the trigger is click click and notthing happens I've checked the tip and the wire all seems fine can anyone tell me what it...
Hello . What kind of budget have you ? . If you want a 3 in one welder that will do stick tig and mig look at the termal arc 181i . If you want a stick welder I bought a migatronic focus stick 160e it is a very nice machine.
I kinda didn't like the leads that came with it they weren't very flexible and that does interfere with rod control I find. Especially if your trying to repossion yourself. But that's just me
I found some 25sq cable I had in the shed . I put the myking electrode holder on it and a decent screw type earth clamp on it . When I took the electrode holder off it wasn't very tight either were the dinze plugs I've a 5meter earth and a 5 meter electrode lead .
I think I will get 25sq cable . And a better earth clamp . I'll see can I get that myking electrode holder to fit as I really like it . It holds the electrode frim
Hi guys I just bought a nice 160 amp inverter welder it came with a nice myking electrode holder. But the leads are only 16sq cable I was thinking of puting 25sq on it. Or will 16sq be ok. The earth lead is 3 meters and the electrode lead is 5 meters.
As Dannyp said if you have 3 phase look at a good sechand mig . If you want to buy new then look at the termal arc fabercator 181i or the 252i . But there single phase
I never heard of that machine. But the duty cycle at full amps seems very low. . Being honest I think your better off buying a good used machine . Look at keempi frounis. murex. Esab. termal arc . even migatronic . You want a mig with a good wire feed system a bad wire feed will break...
3phase machines are a lot more expensive. If you have a 3phase power supply then your laughing because you can get the world of big 3phase mig welders sechand at least you can here in ireland. Good sechand single phase migs are hard come by. 2 to 300 won't get you much in the line of a...
Hi guys I bought the migatronic focus stick 160e the open circuit voltage is 85. They didnt have the 200amp jasic all they had was a 160 and a 180 amp I tried all 3 machines and I just liked the migatronic more . The arc was easier start than the jasic. I found anyway. I tried a friends...
I wouldn't use 6011 much just for rusty farm repairs I find them good. I'm thinking of getting the migatronic I might live to regret it though. It's a toss up between it and the termal arc 175se . The 5 year warranty on the jasic only stands if you get it serviced every 12 months that's...
I like the look of the migatronic it seems simple but I haven't seen any reviews on them . . But it's 50 euro dearer than the termal arc . The jasic does have a 5 year warranty thought. Would all 3 welders burn a 6011 welding rod.
