Repaired my Punto.
Kinda ,I couldn't get the crankshaft pulley off so I've noticed it has got stuck in position.
So I've got the engine timing almost right (the dots on the pulleys cannot align perfectly to the flywheel) .
It runs kinda good.
Slow at the throttle release .
But drivable.
I'm more...
Neither one of those.
Dormer was originally an English company, a section of another twist drill company .
It has been acquired by Sandvik in 1990's
Still haven't found nothing about its relation with SKF
Or why mostly ever single machine tap is marked as Made in Italy SKF Dormer Cutting Tools
The biggest Dormer box I've ever seen yet
Containing this
The 38mm die stock I've bought last week I think.
Or maybe the day I've bought the lathe anyway not more than 2 weeks ago
I'd like to be honest with you ,the quality is far more superior than what I'm used to use either at home or...
It's funnier that I'm not younger in the shop but almost , and the apprentice is 10 years older than me.
Anyways it happened something similar to the forks , the bucket was on the stands, slightly tilted to not touch directly on them and not interfering with the cutting .
The stand deflected the...
Finished later at work this evening because I've spent a good half our teaching to a new employee how to cut with oxy propane .

Whenever happens to mig weld uphill I'll upload a picture, it's not a perfect science but I'm surely not great at it but I can produce a nice looking weld
Here is my lathe ,took just few moments ago.
Took also a manual line boring jig ,with a bar micrometer and it's anvils up to 125mm , bearings, toolings,a steady rest for that more likely from an engine block borer
Later I'll upload more pictures
I'm the only one at work who welds in spray transfer.
Cause they don't know about, they think that mig welding is short circuit only and if it doesn't makes noise it's because you don't have enough wire feed speed
We use 82% argon 18% CO2 shielding gas mixture
I achieve to get spray arc using...
Chinese are very serious about selling and buying they're very professional with the customer but you have to use the correct language to achieve that, never negotiate the price with an Asian seller
Tried and failed.
They ask a lot of questions about your company etc
Then there's a very frustrating iter to get the transaction closed.
And if you get to this point you'll have to pay a lot of import taxes and duties
This morning I've had not enough time to give you the answer you deserve,so now I'm in weekend and I can.
Thanks for trusting me, and for what you wrote.
I often have to stop and look back to what I'm doing and what I achieved to see that little bit today and little bit tomorrow I'm achieving my...
