I have the Esab, it’s 5 years old and been used for what I would call regular DIY use.
Easy to use if your ok with touch screens and menus, the smig is brilliant but if your getting it out for just tacking something together use normal mig I found it takes a couple of beads to find it’s mojo...
I made a tool height gauge the other week. The top half screws into the bottom on an m10 fine thread and locks with set screws, a brass topper makes it a little easier to use.
It’s pretty heavy, i set a magnet in the bottom to help it stand on the bed flats.
So far works a treat.
I have an ender 3 V2, went for the V2 for the 32bit board and silent drivers. One thing to be aware of is the 24v fans, they are a bit noisy and if you want to upgrade to quiet ones they are harder to find at 24v ill probably use buck converters when I do it.
The stock springs are soft, these...
depends how close the door sizes are to your door ways. Electric planes are great but they can break out at the edges on the modern holow type doors with pine edging if your not careful. if your taking half an inch of top or bottom do you have a track saw or circular saw to get it close?
oh...
I use Aspen for both 2 and 4 stroke items have done for a number of years. Keep meaning to look at the alternates as it is pricey for home use, not long back we had been running our Honda powered pressure washer on petrol for a few years simply because we cant be bothered keeping aspen near it...
i had some wall mount HDMI plate connectors similar to what your looking at, not sure on my manufacturer but i hit problems with HDMI CEC (making devices control each other) after much pulling of hair removed the HDMI plate from the loop and it started working. Can only think they were not...
yes that's what I was getting at maybe I wasn't clear go to the router and see if it has any insights as wifi is irrelevant and a totally separate topic.
do you have access to your router to see if it can give any insights? and have you rebooted the router/modem to see if it needs a reset?
Most modern routers can give an indication of traffic and what's happening something like this on mine that shows what the whole network is pulling from the...
lots of e commerce sites seem to have halted UK sales for the moment whilst they sort it out. Just tried to order some clips for my dogs tracker and found they are not currently supplying the uk

Due to new Brexit-related regulations, we are currently not allowed to sell our products...
I'd go with a band saw with automatic cut off. Having had a Rage I wouldn't want to use it on 50mm bar for a lot of cuts my Femi band saw has cut a fair few 50mm round cuts but it take a minute or so for each a larger size band saw would be more efficient I expect.

my accountant hates people and starts badgering me end of summer to start gathering things he gets more scraps of paperwork posted through his door than Christmas Cards in the week before . I'm PAYE but think they are a godsend, got it wrong one year through DIY and seriously regretted it!
we are calling it the space ratchet, The ISS has a 3d printer and NASA started experimenting some years ago emailing them files to print of tools and bits and bobs they need. This ratchets file was made public. No reason just thought it would be cool to print with the kids. Its actually pretty...
had all my wobbly removable tow bars replaced by the fixed ones FOC at the dealers. I think JLR have learnt their Lesson from my experiences with the D5s towbar but it shouldn't have happened and they could have better handled it by owning up to a design error rather than spouting the occasional...
:offtopic: D5's are cr@p compared to the D3/4. I have a d5 at the moment and bizarrely just ordered another due for march new plate but I sorely miss my D4s. I had 5x d3/4s since they launched the best and the one I miss most was my original 2005 d3 I loved that car. D5 is way too posh for its...
Disco3/4? people will have concerns over complexity but they are dam good cars if you get a good one. Independent garages are comfortable working on them now too. For that money you could probably get one that's gone through its expensive phase and had the belts, arms, bushes, diffs and air...
did almost exact same damage to an Audi avant, dealer quoted just under £700 to sort it. Ashamed to say I bought a wheel arch kit for £150 and stuck that on as I was trading it in very soon:ashamed:
