Hood, cuts the buffalo well 65amp hypertherm will getting close to 3k with all the bits on, run a 85 amp hypertherm on my home made table faultless it is, like the touch off controller by the way. not playing at the game are you CNC lathe nice!!
Morning all, having been down this road and building my own table believe me that's the easiest bit getting your head around the different software that's needed to run these machines is a hole different ball game but having said that if l can do it so can you if needing help just let me know.
Well here is my opinion on the subject, but opinions are like noses every one has one !! Looked at doing the same as you 4/4 table nearly bought a mk 2 swiftcut for just over 6 k then add to that was my plasma, which buy the way is a hypertherm 85 which ever table or which ever way you choose...
I looked at a swftcut and nearly bought it ex demo MK2 , there is Escco as well, swftcut were using candcnc controllers are they still doing it now????

Now that's a very good question, give me a couple of weeks and I will post hopefully the the finished table, but one of the biggest problems is the controller which is of course is candcnc unit and not Mack but the new Linux based unit, as of yet their is not a lot information on the internet...
Just to put you in the picture, regards building your own table there is well over 5 grand in the controller and hypertherm 85 that's in the picture, been over a year now building the table it's time that's the problem with me, also that's the easy bit !!!!!. Leaning or better still trying to...
