My parents had a PL17 Tigre when they first moved up to D&G in the 70's. Eventually sold it in the late 80's as a bit of a basket case to a guy over in the Scottish Borders.
My faithfull old bus has front suspension that's squeaking like a sack of rats :(.
I'm pretty sure the culprit is the bush between the bottom of the shock absorber and the suspension arm.
Anyone replaced them?
Are they likely to be a pig to press out and polybush?
Would I be better off just...
When I visited Cape Town a few years ago there didn't seem to be anything other than attended petrol stations.
You got your fuel, your windows, lights and wingmirrors cleaned (all of them - no mean feat in the middle of a major water shortage!), oil and coolant levels checked and tyres checked...
Similar to an idea that used to get used at a place I used to work. We had several short lengths of tube drilled and tapped around their circumference for centring screws that could be run in a fixed steady to hold square/hex/irregularly shaped stuff. Kinda fiddly to set up but handy sometimes...
