There's no need to notify them if you need glasses for driving. When you apply for a driving license, however, you have to state at that time if you wear glasses when driving, in which case your license is usually endorsed with the code 01.
As per
Sikaflex seems the go-to "budget friendly option" . I'll get a couple of tubes and give it a go on one panel before committing to buying a few crates.
Might be a sales post later on in the month , I usually end up over purchasing
I have all the window cut outs as well, 20 @ 1300 X 800...
On the curved roof , they are ok with me putting some discreet rivets on the top as they will be out of shot.
Can't get an answer on how old these are meant to be. If they are going to decorate them with fake rivets then I will be a little peeved
Big Red face
These are the sides of a train carriage ( prop for a film)
The irony of it is , the last job I did for them , they actually wanted the side panels to fall off ( not a train carriage though)
It looks like these are going to get powdercoated as well, so I need to make...
Haven't tried it, but also wanted to have to drill any holes in the sheet to minimize distortion ( plus a lot of time involved in drilling / cleaning up etc)
Looking for recommendations !
I have to skin some frames that have been fabricated from 60 X 40 x 2.5 RHS with 0.9mm sheet.
The box section frames are approx 2.1 metres wide x 1.8m high . The 40 wide bit is what we are attaching to.
Welding will cause too much distortion, so bonding is going to...
Assuming you are talking about composite roof sheets here ( with the corrugated box section with insulation fixed to it).

Hopefully not broken any rules posting that
Apologies if it does :ashamed:
As much as I like to keep it local etc , you have to branch out to get what you want .
One of the sponsors of this forum appears to have what you need on their website
I’m sure they’ll look after you
But it’s not done anything to stop Joe Bloggs from selling structural steelwork .
They are ten a penny round here, selling staircases, balconies, balustrading , canopies , platforms etc . All stuff that comes under the umbrella. See various companies offering their wares on Facebook too.
Yes, I have done a bit of research since posting, and it can make a bit of a mess if you leave them too long.
Bit the bullet and have replenished the supplies.
Thanks,
The holes in most of them are still round and not oversized, ( gauging by the ones that are :D)
I didn't know if the deposits / gouges in the inside of the nozzles cause issues ?
Afternoon all.
Just going through a pile of used plasma electrodes and nozzles.
Are any of these worth keeping ?
With the price of plate these days it’s not worth worrying about a £10 electrode or a £5 nozzle , but no point binning them if there is useful life left in them
