Not much in it, first impressions are good. Will be making a few mods, that foam grip is already knackered and the wheel stop detent is very sloppy, going to deal with that and check there is grease in the head before I use it in anger. Other than that it is so nice having control over the rpms...
Its not fair to compare a circus like formula E or F1 which are on the global stage to club events or the smaller series. Cant beat the club events for entertainment, they are a good day out.

Ye of little faith :vsad: I have tipped the whole place upside down in the last three months and re stocked/sorted/organised the man cave and machine shop, it’s all up and running. Also won’t be taking in anything else given/dumped on me again.

Today I acquired a 9” two stroke angry grinder and a pack of thin discs, had a quick play with it and like it, not having to use it on max speed is nice.Think I will add a bit more tank protection before pressing it into service.Foam handle grip won’t be long for this world.

What you have is a big motor driving a high volume pump and not enough juice to do the job. I would go with a smaller single phase motor and pump, may be a bit slower but it wouldn't struggle to lift a vehicle.

Locating small parts is the hardest, for me the steel pull out draws have been the best solution yet. Got three sets of them, one set is nutsnbolts, one is drills, mill/lathe tools,taps/dies and anything to do with cutting and the third set is full of things like the hoselok fittings,lynch...
Grouping tools and stock helps, I pigeon holed some tool boxes at the end of the workshop. Example would be rivets/riveting, put a drill, rivet pullers, assortment of rivets, right size drills etc in one box. Rivet op is simple, grab the box and take it to where you need it, no searching.

Eric always had a rolling chassis on display at Ken Heanes motorcycles in Fleet, really was a thing of beauty. As a nipper it was something I always wanted but couldn't afford.
