i had seen that you can seperate the ethanol from fuel using water, however depending on the content it might render the fuel too lower ron rating to be usable.
often boosting the octane rating 95 might end up as 92/93 when removing the ethanol so depending on your lowest octane rating for your...

going too fast, applying too much pressure and a lack of lube often kills a recip blade quickly
take your time and apply cutting oil to the blade and bolt it will help a great deal
i used a roller on the last lot of mesh i painted, when i attempted spray painting most passes through the mesh and is wasted :doh:
your idea of stacking them up slightly offset to catch the spray is a good one and maybe worth a go :thumbup:

was only for reference that they are out there and to be fair i think they might be refering to screw jack type lifts rather than hydraulic but either way im sure its doable especially with vfd tech these days
you can usually manually override the motor gearbox on ramps to raise/lower when the motor or power fails but generally not for everyday use
same with hydraulic versions there is usually a manual pump arm inside the mech and a way to manually lower the ramps but again not really meant for...
chop saw is smaller and lighter to be able to pack it away after each use and as such very portable (unless you get one of the smaller portable bandsaws) but the limiting factor is the size you can cut, band saws cut much bigger stock!
plus the beauty of a horizontal bandsaw is once set up it...
someone could be triggering it on purpose in hopes you will disable it, have seen it in the past with older classics

if you find any chequer plate you can rivit it to the sides for extra protection :thumbup:
fit your big one on the new bench and fit the quick release one on the old bench to replace the non qr vice
then put old vice in a workmate for dirty work outside :thumbup:
