This is the...

turn the power up get more penatration as the weld is sat on the metal and not eating in if you gring that down it will come away. so ounce you have groung it back weld it agein with at least twice the power you were using.
I always use difusers and gas lenses to suit 3.2 then just swap the collets for the tungsten I am using.
I dont see a problem drilling a collet and a defuser but if you are using gas lenses I am not sure if it will drill ok as there is not much hold ing the mesh / gause in the center.

I had a breakin and lost approx £140,000 in tools and machinery and they only paid £47,000 + VAT there was no way I could stop them getting in as they were getting in through walls. I had 4 bulgurys in the following year ( the insolvency people reconed this was a big factor to why I ended up...
Millwaulkee used to do good tools I used to run 5 of their loktor 18v battery drills at a time and they nearly lasted a year which was the best I had I have had a millwaulkee 9" grinder it did about 5 weeks total garbage then I got a 28v Lion battery drill this did about 4 months I sent it back...
the sand idea works but I also have not done this wet.
You must have the correct die not use one that does not fit as it will squash and kink.
for small ERW tubes I have used the smaller benders (for copper pipe) that plumbers use as these draw the tube around the bend and do not put a...

Hi
welcome to the forum.
I would always recomend you get a machine that uses gass as they are a lot more user friendly and easier to learn on and alot more versatile you should be Ok outside just position yourself so that you do not get wings blowing where you are welding and dont weld on a...
you seem to be getting the hang of it. I think you will find as you get used to it you will be able to turn it back up to the setting in the bottom left and weld faster.

this type of saw eats blades when I used to use them I found buying 10-14 tpi blaces but high quality ie starret M2 or somthing simular about £30 per blade worth every penney will out last 20 cheap blades and cut quicker if you put it on the slowest speed with a 14tpi blade in it it should do...
The Cebora 130 was the first set I had and before I upgraded I used to build a few commercial bodies and I put 2 or 3 Hiabs on running it flat out with not enough wire feed causing it to spray and cut in the blocks were 60mm Square and the plate was 10mm thick and I had 4 per hiab. it used to...
I have a few 5 draw snapon boxes I dont use any more if you want to make a sensible offer they have holes in the sides as I bolted 5 in a row so nobody could run off with them. most have no locks as keys were lost.
they are a bit dirty but they have not got battered as they did not move...
Hi the first problem that you would get is a porus weld if you had no gas.
you may not ba getting enough gas and this could be reducing penatration slightly.
if this is the case you have probably got a brown resaduearoung the weld.
3 things stop the gas.
1, bad regulator
2, gas valve...
does not look to bad but I agree wit the other 2 need more power and stedy your self.
when I am laid in a confined space welding over head with the size and weight of a 500amp water cooled torch you soon find you are wandering as your arms get tired and I find that even if you can drag a...
