still new to mig welding , have done a little bit of stick welding over the last 6 months. i am finding it so hard to push and welding torch away from me. if that makes sense. maybe i got used to the stick welding were you draw the stick towards you.the pushing away from you seems so unatural...
bought the welder secondhand last nov 2007, just got around to getting some gas sorted, using cougar argon/co2.
the welder is a merkle 185 , it has 7steps for voltage and 7 steps for wire feed speed enclosing a picture of my first ever go with a mig welder . have used a stick for about 5 months...

i.e can co2 only be stored in one type of cylinder and argon or argon/co2 in a differant cylinder. are the cylinders differant ie the argon cylinder stronger thicker...
