There doesn't appear to be any vented/cooling areas and after thinking about it, it does make sense retaining the heat as it is a big motor but I can tell you that the quality of it is great very heavy and so smooth I got it with a vat free voucher as well which was a bonus also must mean there...
Your totally right it holds heat for a long time I left it plugged in and it was cold so has to be like you say and holds the heat I just didn't know if this is normal but it is a big electric motor and is going to get hot just surprised at how hot it gets and how long it stays hot for.

Finally got my new punches the case is a good design and the finish of the punches are great but the blue paint that they have used terrible it scrapes off really easy hopefully these are the last ones I need to buy
ended up ordering the gedore set comes in a nice metal case, made in Germany so should be good. I did want to buy the eclipse ones but after looking into them there seemed shorter then the gedore ones

hi i ended up going with the esab sentinel a50 it is a fantastic helmet very light low profile when you lift it up and is very well built i think the lens covers are exspensive though so i wet and dry /t cut them and i have has some good results doing it
