Hi to all.
This time I made ornaments for two friends' birthday.
The vertical one is made with Ø8mm rebar, the horizontal one with Ø10mm solid.
Tig welded with a poor man's kit, lift start and manual valve torch.
And with a 14mm spanner for scale.
Let me know what you think about them...
Arc blow happens even without a magnet in the welding area. It is caused by the flow of the welding current itself.
It doesn't happen if you weld with an ac machine, only in DC.
You can lessen its effects moving the ground clamp around (at least this is what I do).
Hi
to make another little project, I "had to" make another easy tool, copying it from an Indian youtube channel.
The majestic round and flat stock manual bender.
Enjoy the photos (it is nothing great :thumbup: , but it works)
Have a nice weekend

Hi to all.
After some month without reasons to weld, a life threatening project presented itself.
A toilet paper holder, copied straight from a photo online.
Some photo attached below.
Have a nice weekend, virus free,

Keep one channel with both languages. Less work to mantain.
And if don't understand the English, I will have the Italian video nearby.

Looking too much at your work cause dizziness...
If you have time, you could do decorative items using the "Tangram" style.

Some are nice.
Have a good evening. :fish::fish:

Good evening everyone.
The following images are especially for @KimB
A fully loaded swing (I tried adding the leaf, but the overload buzzer started).
See you. :drunk::drunk:

Hi.
Little project coming.
A simple mail Holder, made with horse shoes (I'm starting to love them, there are a
lot of nice ideas floating in the Net).
As usual comments are wellcome.
Have a nice day. :drunk::drunk:

Hi to all.
The end of the holydays is coming.
So I ended this little project:
porch swing - flower vase size, of course.
The frame is in 30x30 square tubing, while the "seat" is in 20x20 angle.
As usual comments are wellcome.
Stay safe in these strange times. :drunk::drunk:

Nice project indeed.
A few questions, if I can:
- When you joined the crossmembers on the rear, did you weld them all around or did you lay short beads?
- To make the base heavier, would be possibile fill the lower rectangular frame with very dry sand and use a smaller tubing (eg 30x30)?
Or...
