I have that very same heater. Been running for the last 3 years 8-10 hours 3 days a week no bother at all. Found it easier to install than the separate system. Get a decent power supply for it though I think that makes a big difference.
Will probably brake down now I said that but would recommend.
That’s quite a cleaver arrangement. The more steering angle you have the more leverage you have to counteract the weight on the rudder (if I’m seeing it right).
I had mine installed for 3 years now power supply plugged in and have shut the power off a couple of times in error not letting it do the cool down procedure this it did no harm at all. I wouldn't do it all the time but if you do knock the power off in error don't panic, it should be OK.
Been running mine on red for the last 2 winters no problems so far. I think a good stable power supply is the key.

Not a criticism just an observation but the centre ridge should taper down to nothing as it gets towards the tip of the feather. It will give a much more delicate look.
