There are no buttons on the cooler I have (Lorch)
But i've sorted it, the cooling circuit turned out to be blocked.
If you or Matt could put the Error codes up in here it might help me/others who haven't a manual in the future.
Thanks for your help.
Hello,
I've just hooked up my Lorch water cooler and have E5 displaying where amp's would normally. I have no water circulation. I'm assuming its an error message. Could somebody let me know what it is?
Regards
Ricky
From my understand free air delivery is what the pump will do at low/no pressure. My compressor at home is 16cfm (4hp) from memory, at 100psi+ it is more like 10cfm. Infact both together (7hp total) are around 16cfm. This with the 2 tanks, 400l, does me fine for most jobs other than blasting. To...
I'll try that.
And this, the torch lead is in good condition as far as I can see. However i did have a problem the other week when "holding" the earth clamp I could feel a tingling/ i'd guess around 30volts approx. Like power was bleeding to the earth. Soon as you touched it onto the bench...
What machines don't use HF? Strangely enough my Lincoln does have HF, but still, it doesn't cause the same problem. It seems unique to the Lorch.
I've just done some testing and it is only on the start of a weld.
So would I be wasting my time trying? If I unplug the UPS with the computer...
Hello,
I've got a problem with interference between my computer and the tig. I've tried various on the computer end. UPS etc and while its helped its not eradicated the problem.
The welder is a Lorch T220 ac/dc, the problem is with the HF, as it does it only when stopping starting or...
With decent rubber hose once its pushed on the barbs I cannot get it off without cutting it. A clip should hold it fine I'd have thought. Probably temperature related with the PVC.
Many complications really. Mainly distortion. Gearboxes are thin material. I've done some before while still built and they've been ok, but i'd try and get my money back or swap the casing if it was me.
Certainly not enough to make me want to do this. The disc's on mine were £300 a side, I paid to have them ground rather than messing on the lathe/mill.
Something else... How are you planning to do the other side?
I have an Energas account, but they have crept the price up quarter by quarter so i'm looking to change.
I use big cylinders. They charge me something like £40 per fill now It used to be under £30. You get 230 in the big cylinders. (the energas cylinders are slightly larger than Boc etc as well).
I've got Bosch blue, Makita and Dewalt.
Dewalt is the most powerful but also noise and worse vibrations.
Makita is least powerful and quietest but pretty bulky.
Bosch I haven't had long, Noise is somewhere in between but not as "harsh" as the others. Very small, least amount of vibration...
