So I'm all for saving money (cough..tight ****!) needed a new hose pipe holder for my van as I run an exterior cleaning business..problem I have is it needs to hold 50 metres of hose and they can start at £350-£400!
So thought I'd make my own as the ones you buy run mild steel tube that runs...
Any ideas where i can get some steel for both lips ?
Ideally after someone very friendly with a water jet machine ( a dream i know )
As ill only be using two rings of steel ie the middle bit will just be waste
Thanks yes zipdisc, they leave a lovely finish .
Need x4 clamps for the lid to main body . Unsure what to use as a seal yet . Barrel max pressure is 4.1bar which makes it 58psi .
Max I need is 50psi so will get a blow off valve to suit
So I need a pressure pot for resin casting
And seeing as got thrown on the skip at work it was too good to miss
Plan is to weld x2 rings , one on the lid one on the bottom and for some kind of seal inbetween. Then work out pressure release valves and ball valves etc

all been ground down ready to go.
had a quote from a local company but , i would need to remortgage my house for that...
This has done 190000 barely run in , failed the mot on blue smoke from exhaust so plan is to replace the PCV , an stem seals , drop the oil and flush it and fit some plugs and filters ....
Not that im aware of matey , i like it too thats why im repainting all the inside as well, all the bottom of the bed and eventually the back of the main casing and inside will be de-greased and repainted , new bearings etc
