Thank you for the advice. One last question please. I have a Lincoln 120 volt mig. Since it can only weld up to 1/4" MAx. Would I have the machine set on max since I will be directing the wire on the nut?

Hello everyone. I own a lincoln 120volt mig. I want to change some of the suspension on my jeep grand cherokke. I want to put a long arm suspension on it so I can raise it 3-4 inches. The jeep has a uni-body frame. My question is do you think my 135amp 120volt welder can do it?
