I should have been a bit clearer.
When you brake moderately hard, the car pulls to one side. it pulls towards the gutter......so I guess it's an offside brake not working?

Hi,
did you have any problems with the car pulling to one side afterwards?
I've basically replaced the rear brake lines, drums, shoes and brake fluid. I've run a litre of fluid through and bled each corner.......but if you brake hard it now pulls to the left! arrgggg!!
I've tried...
I double checked the shoes and they match perfectly. Only thing I hadnt checked was the cylinder.....looks like one of the pistons was rusted solid - on each side of the car!
Dammit!!! I'll replace the whole car with new bits at this rate!

Constant bind. Makes no difference which way i put the drum on. it looks like the top edge is worn off slightly, like the shoes are too long?

I was using a no 5 ceramic and a blue 2.4mm tungsten. I've just ordered a 1.6mm ceriated tungsten and no 7 cermaic to see if that helps and...
I think thats what I'm having trouble with - being comfortable!
I just saw one good tip in the TIG welding section of wrapping the lead around your arm - I'll try that tonight :-)
Paul.
As above...
I have trouble keeping the tip of the tungsten at the right distance from the material i'm welding, whcih in turn, generates too much heat!
Any tips for how you do this? I havent got the steadiest hands!
Paul.
