Used Jotun too with a roller, went to use it again but its gone off in the tin...the fact "Boychild" borrowed it to paint a motorbike frame and line a tank last year i suspect its been cross contaminated.

Much depends on the blades and they are usefull for the occasional cutting of wood but are up there with "Dremmel" (ie DIY hero stuff ...look at me i cut a nail!)
1.5mm steel for engine building takes a bit of abuse wipes down with brake cleaner for a really clean surface. If thats not needed then hardboard smooth side up, sealed with varnish and replaced every so often.
"Layout fluid" is what you want , Micromiter blue is for rubbing two surfaces to see highspots or engagement ( and for making everything in the sink blue when you wash your hands but they've left all their baking stuff in the sink...still getting heat for that!)
