I've had parts off Clarke as well, very helpful lot
Sent me a parts list and exploded diagrams so I could identify what I needed and placed the order
Didn't bother phoning, did it all via email
WTF, I've got a listing on there ATM, it's £2100 as well, hadn't realised they changed their listing fees :o
Think some remedial activities are required
Can do, will have a dig and send them over
However, like others, I've used plastic waste pipe and solvent weld end caps with the default rubber seal, works well
Thanks, I have previous form
Did this a few years ago for a Diamond X50 dual bander
It's bath waste pipe with some 3d printed ends and all the bits fit inside
@Brad93 that's useful info thanks
Don't often do thick stuff but it always feels like the wire speed is too low even though it's maxed out
Was planning on getting a roll of 1mm to try out
@Chinnus
I did the same mod to mine but completely replaced all of the steel pipes with hydraulic hoses
You can do it yourself, if you strip the valve block down just be aware 1 of the valves is left hand thread
And end cap, threaded boss and screwcap. Thread is M125x8
These were then fitted to a length of 110mm soil pipe
And inside the tube is a portable 3 element 2m YAGI
Yep, farmer friend has a couple of Jeep Grand Cherokees, 2.7 merc engine jobbies. They have been uber reliable and rarely give trouble, latest one has an autobox issue, I've diagnosed what's at fault, but, there's as much muck inside it as out so there's no way I'm diving in to fix it
I am officially a bell end
Gas soldering iron meets kitchen worktop :doh:
Needless to say, 'management' is not happy
It's a Cooke and Lewis worktop, about 6yrs old, what's the chances of finding another to match, really don't fancy replacing all of the worktops to keep the peace!
Think that's know as 'Lean Thinking' or could be Cando or maybe six sigma
They tried it at our place about 15yrs ago and like the caster wheels, after stuff got chucked it was needed
